“A collection of short stories which has some great reviews on the cover by Dave Eggers and Jonathan Safron Foer, both authors I enjoy and respect.
But having read the first two stories and 70 pages I’ve given up.
A very Jewish writer and not for me, but that’s literature, try it for yourself and tell me what you think

“Rebus is a top British detective in the way Poirot was in his day.
It’s Rebus that made this book, the story was good too but I struggled to feel the ending would satisfy avid crime readers

“Hollywood script writer and this is reflected in his page turning style.
Nothing wrong with this thriller and could read others with the character Elvis Cole in.
As for the plot, three days later I’d struggle to remember it, is this important? The Forgettable Man?

“Not an easy one to categorize as probably essays.
It began really well and then, for me, got bogged down in detail to literary references.
I confess I’ve not finished this book but am stopping halfway through.
