“Laugh out loud coming of age novel. Lex is an Irish teenager who is finishing school and hopes to go to Uni in London.
Lex is a bright boy and it’s his first person narration I like. Him, his pals, the beautiful Michelle, and Lex’s family.
Really good fun and I’ll read his next.

“Romantic novel which time slips from present to past. We get two romances for the price of one!
I liked the London setting and the feeling of place.
Our tuba playing daughter finds a Victorian diary…
Perhaps not my preferred reading genre but I wanted to read this in preparation of meeting the author

“Here’s another elderly writer who is either past it or resting on his laurels.
Out of touch characters appear in this uninteresting Russian money laundering M15 nonsense. This dragged along to a limp conclusion.
Strangely The new film Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is soon to be released.
