“Debut novel and a crackingly good read, sorry it finished.
Private Eye thriller that has real credibility. Our protagonist is a total loser who goes from one drunken mistake to the next.
His refreshingly breaks the crime novel mould. I’ll read more by him.

“An adventure and a detective novel rolled into one.
Set in the Middle East and feature two main characters, one Israeli and the other Palestinian.
Sussman does a good job of illustrating the horrors inflicted in both directions. Shame his editor didn’t suggest cutting this down by a 100 pages, it would be better for it.

“Quality crime from American JLB. Good stuff. A Dave Robicheaux novel.
Descriptive, colourful, predictable.
