“Wow what a book. Best so far this year.
Before I began reading I’d been thinking of writing a novella, but DBC spoils that notion by making me realise what intelligent and great writing is, which in a million years I couldn’t manage.
I’m not going to say much about the book, a guy decides to end it all so travels for one last bender with his mate Smuts. Things spiral around and whatever you decide to read into the meaning of the book, it is a terrific novel.
