“Billed as Robinson Crusoe meets The Life of Pi…no chance, doesn’t even come close.
Historical tale of whalers in the Arctic who leave Thomas Cave behind over winter to deal with his grief.
I should have given up when the left him.

“The latest Lincoln Rhyme novel.
Pretty much as expected, a page turning thriller, but wait…is that one twist and turn to many? Yes the plot is over complicated and because of all these twists I ended up not liking any of the suspects and couldn’t care what happened to them.
Shame, Deaver not at his best, but I’ll still read him again.

“Great book and a breath of fresh air. Light and funny.
A Yemen Sheikh wants to introduce salmon fishing into a wadi.
Take Yes Minister and mix it with Scoop and you’ll get the style.
Read whatever he writes next.

“Highly entertaining but not deep and meaningful.
Jesse the Cowboy is a ghost and lives in Suzy Simon’s bedroom. Needless to say she has trouble fitting in with her new class mates.
Found out that Simon when translated from Hebrew means ‘intense listener’
