“Another average debut novel which comes with a lot of hype.
The story is that one sister goes missing and then is discovered dead, but was she murdered?

“Romantic novel. Two people get back together after years after a break up at University.
But it’s complicated, they are both having to put life on hold to care for relatives, and ones is also married.
A good novel but not very exciting or emotionally involving.

“Creepy ghost story with some style.
I liked the old books, derelict house, monastery, and the small hand.
Note to self…read the Woman in Black. Book club less enthused 5/10

“Began well when our protagonist goes to the wrong funeral. As a result he inherits a fortune.
This turns him into a bit of a git. So far so good. The transition to a caring person is far to clunky. He gets it back on track until he needs to finish, back to clunky.
