Another BookPub read and some loved it giving 9 other 2/10 the average settled at 6.5/10 I thought less of it. Sorry but I expect a lot better from this very good author, ok he is trying something different. Britain, in an alternate 1982. This world is technologically advanced. Charlie, the protagonist, spends most of his inheritance on an incredibly lifelike robot named Adam. Trust me there are much better books out which cover these ideas, research and read better.

This is one dreary novel. I’m sorry to say I gave up on page 104. A historical story written backwards, supposedly a murder mystery too. Not for me…

After 10 years to the day our book club ‘eight’ has come to an end. Ironically I managed to read the wrong book too! And the shame is I didn’t like this book very much and scored a 3/10 a little voice in my head telling me I missed something with this one?
