It’s a war novel, a sort of sci-fi, madness, too complicated for me I’m afraid!

“This novel has a lot going for it. Very good writing, a book which holds your attention, characters and dialogue which hang together perfectly, and a unique story.
Almost from the first page I was gripped. Who are these people, are they for real? Annette, charismatic Timothy Richardson, Jack and Netty
I want to read whatever the author writes next!
Our book club didn’t all score so highly with some going low and others (like me) high, so the average 6/10 doesn’t do it justice. I score 8/10

“If you didn’t read The End of Mr Y then you should!
This doesn’t connect at all and stands alone as a novel.
As a writer she has an easy style which makes the pages flow and keeps you wanting to read on.
We read this as a book club novel and had lots to discuss and debate.
BC scored 5.6/10 I liked it more than most and gave it a 7/10

“Every now and then I come across a novel that feels like a breath of fresh air, this is one of them.
No real plot and proper literary fiction, this is more a collection of interlocking stories and characters, which normally I would not enjoy, but this is good!
8/10 recommended
