“A most enjoyable and humourous tale of three young music reporters in the 1976/77 at the dawn of the New Wave era.
Expertly narrated by Paul Thornley. Parsons back to his best.

“Pulitzer Prize winning author. Turkish translation and set in modern day times.
This novel needs to be read seriously, not in bite sized chunks like I was trying to do.
I gave up on page 100, the pages just weren’t turning for me.
No doubt this chap can write though

“Having thoroughly enjoyed The Long Firm, this new book came along with some controversy. In fact withdrawn and re-edited because one of the main characters was a bit too similar to a real life celeb! Lovely stuff, I read the uncut ed.
Not for the prudish or homophobes. Bordering on porn Arnott embraces all the combinations of boy/girl/girlboy/boy etc.
70’s Glam Rock London and a memorable rent boy called Sweet Thing.
The book works wonderfully but don’t lend it to your maiden aunt.

“Here’s a good example of a bad example. This teens audiobook had been poorly cast.
Regardless of the story I couldn’t continue listening to Virginia Leishman’s plumy voice.
