It’s easy to see why this, the first of ‘misery memoirs’ sold millions of copies.
A short book about the horrible, shocking and sad events of Dave, an abused Californian kid.
Why any person would do this to another human is beyond me. But absorbing and enlightening.

If you like American crime such as Coben, Deaver and Reichs then you would enjoy Indelible.
Having said this it didn’t stand out from the crowd enough for me to recommend it.
I could and should have given up after half the novel, I finished it but couldn’t care less about the characters, so not good.

Nice enough, well written and from a young author which I hadn’t realised until after I’d finished the novel.
