“Twins are split up a sea after their poor father has died.
Each is picked up, one by Pirates and the other…you guessed it a Vampirates ship.
For a teen read this is great stuff…not sure how a real teenager would like it, still its selling.

“Set at a pivotal point in the history of Victorian London as plans are finalised for the overhaul of the capitals sewers.
The hero of the plot works as an engineer for Bazalette, he is haunted by events from the Crimean war and is a self harmer.
This is an intelligent and gripping murder mystery – the story is moving and involving.
I met the author (long after I’d given it a score) and she did plenty of research, including a tour of the sewers!

“Perhaps I’m being unfair to this legal thriller with 4/10 but come on editors don’t let the author pad it out!
The plot (made for TV) rich white lawyer gets stitched…enter stereotype black prostitute woman (don’t forget the sob story) to help out.
It’s bound to sell well.

“Here’s a good example of a bad example. This teens audiobook had been poorly cast.
Regardless of the story I couldn’t continue listening to Virginia Leishman’s plumy voice.
