This time it gets a bit far fetched.
After being involved in an accident and finding herself wheelchair bound, a psychotherapist is getting her life back together in an institute for mentally insane children. When we begin talking global disaster I found myself wondering off.
I liked though.

“Romantic novel. Two people get back together after years after a break up at University.
But it’s complicated, they are both having to put life on hold to care for relatives, and ones is also married.
A good novel but not very exciting or emotionally involving.

“Began well when our protagonist goes to the wrong funeral. As a result he inherits a fortune.
This turns him into a bit of a git. So far so good. The transition to a caring person is far to clunky. He gets it back on track until he needs to finish, back to clunky.

“Pulitzer winning novel from 1982.
To sum it up…this covers slavery, orphans, love, lesbians, singing, family, American negroes, African negroes. It has it all.
Hope is the real message. Maybe I’ll watch the film.
Alice Walker narrates the audiobook.
